We supply scrubbers for the capture of gas emissions such as Sulphur Dioxide and Hydrogen Sulphide. Key features of this technology are:
Spray Systems are used to contact reagent liquor with the gas.
Reactor chambers are designed for optimum retention time.
Sprays are designed for ease of removal and maintenance.
Materials are selected appropriate to the conditions.
A scrubber for removeal of H2S from sewage digestor gas prior for use in a gas engine was supplied as part of a LMS Co-Generation Plant at the Oxley Creek Waste Water Treatment Facility. (See photo right.) A gas scrubber for removal of H2S from a concentrated gas stream has been installed on the Ignite Resources oil from wood pilot plant. See Ignite Gas Scrubber reference.
We have a wide portfolio of dry filtration equipment:
Pulse jet filters.
Ventilation air filters using pocket style filters.
Quality needle felt filter bags from Heimbach Filtration GmbH.
Dry scrubbing technology.
We work exclusively with Heimbach Filtration for the supply of filter bags. We have supplied to Industrial and Power Utilities in Australia including the original 16,500 bags for the Kogan Creek power plant in Queensland. The Waste Fuel Fluid Bed Boiler Filter Bag reference is an example of how we work with customers to identify process issues for selection of optimum polymer and fabric construction.
We have designed a ventilation system and pocket filter house for the Heckel Basement at Onesteel Whyalla.
We supply custom engineered bearing housings in collaboration with Wide Range Engineering. Our range includes:
High speed tunnel bearing assemblies capable of solving speed related issues and lightly loaded bearings.
High speed oil plummer blocks.
Rotary shaft seals and external labyrinth (taconite style) seals.
SKF Bearings are used as a standard.
We have numerous special bearing assemblies in service including on main ventilation fans and high temperature industrial fans. References can be seen on the Bearing Housing Reference Page which provides an insight into our capability.
We supply a range of fabric style expansion joints in collaboration with Thermofab. For every expansion joint supplied we generate an applications data sheet which can be used to trace material back to the original batch.
Composite constructions to cope with high gas temperatures.
Materials including EPDM, Silicon, Viton, Nitrile and Fluoro Plastics to cope with gas composition.
FRAS rated materials for coal mining applications.
Steelwork design to suit constraints and for ease of site installation.
Designs of duct work and interfaces to optimise plant layout.
We have supplied numerous expansion joints as can be seen on the Expansion Joint Reference Page. We favour a cartridge design which can be works assembled and lifted into position as described in the Gas Turbine Expansion Joint reference.
We supply a range of dampers to support process applications:
Designs to cater for low leakage.
Designs to cater for high temperatures.
In duct dampers for flow control which avoid imparting a swirl to the gas.
Louvre dampers for flow control and isolation.
We have supplied louvre dampers for gas system pressure control at high temperatures, in line style for fume extraction balancing and low leakage designs for isolation.
We have developed a product to collect cement samples during transfer of cement from supply tankers to storage vessels:
The Roads and Maritime Services QA Specification 3211 identified the need for sampling of cement during transfer from supply tanker to bulk storage.
TES developed an inline sampling device to allow cement to be sampled at any time during the transfer cycle.
The Roads and Maritime Services procured the TES Cement Sampler as a means of ensuring the quality of cement delivered in the event of uncertainty in the supply.
